Position Title: Senior Project Engineer - Closures & Glazing

Duration: Contract

Location: Leamington Spa

Essential Criteria:

• Senior project engineer with Closures and Glazing experience
• Multiple automotive projects delivered to production concept to PPaP experience
• Has worked in a Lead Engineer, Product Engineer, Project Engineer or Project Manager role within Closures.
• Has worked with an OEM or Tier 1 supply in closures.
• Supplier coordination and management experience
• Knowledge of DFMEA, Closures manufacturing methodologies and general requirements (Industry best practice and legislation)
• DVP and testing experience (virtual and physical phase)
• Production releasing experience.
• Launch and pre-production build experience.
• Forward thinker and advocate of innovation and new technologies.
• Strong leadership of a team of high performance engineers.
• Self-motivated to deliver excellence and excellent communicator.
• CAD viewing software experience

Nice to Have Criteria:

• High end SUV experience
• BEV / EV experience
• Start-up experience.
• Good knowledge of steel body assembly methodologies and/or sheet moulded composites
