Wood Process & Energy is recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of engineering capital projects based at our client site in Ware, England

This is a site-based, permanent staff position working at the clients' operating facility.

The Ware Global Supply Chain site manufactures and supplies oral solid dose tablets (for HIV and oncology)and respiratorydevices (for asthma and COPD)to over 140 countries, as well as to patients participating in clinical trials, playing a key role in new product introduction.The Ware site is located less than a mile from the station, with regular rail links through to London Liverpool Street, taking around 45 minutes.

Who we are looking for:

• Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
• Experience in engineering delivery design/operation of black utility systems . plant steam, effluent drainage etc.
• Integration of design schedule to procurement and/or fabrication schedules
• Preparing and checking scope of work specifications, project procedures and project reports
• Ability to take on tasks delegated by Project Manager or Engineering Manager
• Ability to produce detailed execution plans
• Preparing projects budgets, controlling costs during delivery and providing detail forecasts for presentation to internal and external stakeholders
• Forecast manning level to support the contract portfolio
• Prepare procurement strategies and continual engagement with suppliers and sub-contractors
• Assisting with responses to site queries from the ‘business as usual’ team
• Able to engage with multiple engineering disciplines
• Demonstrable experience of delivery through full project and validation life cycle; URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ and handover to production
• Leading multi-discipline teams
