As a Senior Project Engineer in our Nuclear and Power business, you’ll enjoy the variety of work in our fast-growing Project Engineering capability assisting a wide variety of exciting nuclear projects including Hinkley Point C (HPC), Sizewell C (SZC), Small Modular Reactors (SMR), and Defence-based opportunities. We have a variety of projects available, ranging from design to site-based engineering, including AtkinsRéalis delivery projects across Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, and Installation fields.

Your Purpose:

  • Educated to Degree, HND/C, or equivalent qualification level with a Mechanical Engineering or General Engineering background.
  • Chartered or Incorporated Members of a recognised professional institution (IMechE, IChemE).
  • Experienced and passionate about delivering engineering projects or roles to fulfil safety, quality, time, and cost objectives.
  • Effective in communication, able to integrate quickly into diverse multi-disciplinary teams and influence a range of stakeholders.
  • An innovative problem solver with a keen eye for detail and strong adherence to codes and standards.
  • A proactive self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience within the nuclear sector is not required; experience applying multi-disciplinary or technical knowledge from other industries such as Nuclear, Military, Oil & Gas, or Marine is welcome.
