A well-established Engineering company in Dundee is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead engineering activities. Responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders, creating schedules, and producing detailed engineering documentation. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Engineering, have over 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, and be proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor, and ANSYS. The position offers a salary range of £50-60K.

Qualifications

  • ISO9000:2000 experience required.
  • Knowledge of design methodology in a regulated environment.

Overview

A great opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer has now become available to join a well-established Engineering company based in Dundee. We are looking for someone who has established themselves within a Project Engineering role and accumulated working experience in a Manufacturing Engineering department. You will be joining a company who have built a strong reputation over the years and continue to work at the highest of standards. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, main duties will include:

Responsibilities
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood.
  • Create schedules for Engineering activities.
  • Ensure project kick-off and technical review meeting are held.
  • Create project documentation.
  • Support Engineering team to develop new products in line with company targets.
  • Produce engineering documentation including manufacturing drawings, calculations, specifications, and procedures.
  • Act as the Engineering Manager's designee in their absence.
  • Review and approve colleagues work.
  • Work closely with management teams and provide feedback.
  • Monitor performance against goals.
Experience and Skills Required
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience within a computer aided design for manufacturing engineering department.
  • ISO9000:2000 experience.
  • 2D drafting (AutoCAD) and 3D solid modelling (Inventor) experience.
  • ANSYS finite element software package experience.
  • Knowledge of design methodology in a regulated environment.
  • Manufacturing methods and procedures.
