Responsibilities
- Apply and develop technical skills across a varied client base within Rail projects.
- Coordinate and supervise the engineering coordination of multiple disciplines.
- Supervise and mentor junior members of staff.
- Build and maintain excellent client relationships.
- Work with Rail Standards such as Network Rail and/or Transport for London.
- Ensure quality assurance and control of engineering deliverables including drawings and reports.
- Handle Technical Queries and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Manage risk and oversee engineering interfaces of multiple disciplines (e.g., civils, electrical, and communications).
- Possess commercial experience in engineering design or construction.
Qualifications
- Essential: Proven experience in stakeholder management
- Essential: Ability to orchestrate and supervise the engineering coordination of multiple disciplines
- Essential: Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior members of staff
- Essential: Ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships
- Essential: Significant experience working with Rail Standards such as Network Rail and/or Transport for London
- Essential: Proven experience in quality assurance and control of engineering deliverables including drawings and reports
- Essential: Significant experience in dealing with Technical Queries and RFIs
- Essential: Significant experience in Risk Management
- Essential: Significant experience in managing engineering interfaces of multiple disciplines including civils, electrical and communications
- Essential: Proven commercial experience in either engineering design or construction
- Desirable: Chartered membership with the Institution of Civil Engineers or similar
- Desirable: Significant experience in managing multi-disciplinary designs
- Desirable: Experience in working on site can be an advantage
