Are you an Engineering Manager, Design Manager or Senior Project Engineer with experience leading the design and technical assurance of major rail or civil infrastructure projects?
This is an opportunity to join a nationally significant infrastructure programme and take a leading role in the design and engineering integration of a major new rail station in Birmingham.
The project is currently revisiting Scheme Design before moving into Detailed Design. You will provide engineering leadership, working with design consultants, contractors, technical specialists and major external stakeholders to ensure the station design is compliant, coordinated and successfully integrated with surrounding infrastructure and future railway systems.
Experience working directly for a client organisation or within a major infrastructure consultancy would be particularly relevant, although candidates from major design and delivery organisations will also be considered.
The role will initially be primarily based from central Birmingham, with hybrid working available (3 days in office). It is currently design focused rather than construction led, but will become increasingly site based as the programme moves into physical delivery.
We are an equal opportunities company and welcome applications from all suitable candidates.
