VanRath is recruiting a Project Director for a leading Main Contractor to oversee multi-site projects across the UK. You will provide strategic leadership, manage design coordination, procurement and surveys, and drive profitability while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Strong client liaison and senior stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of large-scale construction projects.
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
• Excellent communication across all levels of a project team.
• Solid understanding of Health & Safety and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with design coordination, procurement and surveying.
• Proven ability to drive profitability and programme delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to multiple construction projects across different sites.
• Act as the primary interface for clients, government officials, and project teams.
• Oversee design coordination, site surveys, and feasibility assessments.
• Manage sub-contractors and direct labour to optimise productivity and profitability.
• Monitor project progress, produce detailed reports, and implement remedial actions when necessary.
• Coach and develop staff to promote continuous improvement and skill advancement.
