Responsibilities:

  1. Creating component, assembly, and system designs with through-life justification, meeting requirements and product attributes such as life, cost, availability, and safety margins.
  2. Developing full lifecycle design solutions from concept through manufacture, operation, and disposal.
  3. Integrating cross-disciplinary engineering concepts and collaborating across manufacturing, simulation, materials, testing, and supply chain functions.
  4. Documenting and verifying information against sound mechanical engineering practices.
  5. Presenting at technical reviews and publishing safety and technical reports for customer and regulatory scrutiny.

Candidate Profile:

We value safety, integrity, simplicity, and making a difference. Essential qualities include:

  • Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably with exposure to process plants, mechanical components, machining, tooling, handling, lifting, special purpose machinery, pressure vessels, boilers, or assembly processes.
  • CAD design software experience.
  • Industry experience in Civil Nuclear, Marine, Petro-Chemical, Oil & Gas, or Special Purpose Machinery.
  • Engineering qualification or relevant experience (Chartered, Degree, HND, HNC, or Apprentice Trained).
