The Government Recruitment Service is recruiting for a G7 Project Delivery expert in Cardiff to join the Major Projects Portfolio office. You will help embed delivery discipline, improve reporting and governance, and support project teams to achieve objectives across multiple programmes.

You will work with senior stakeholders, drive risk management, and coordinate with NISTA on oversight for pipeline and major projects, champion best-practice planning standards, and share expertise across PDD.

Qualifications

Experience guiding projects through the project delivery life cycle.
Ability to identify major risks and escalate at group/department level.
Ability to facilitate planning, risk, problem-solving and lessons learned sessions.

Challenge delivery performance and guide on solutions; identify major risks.
Facilitate planning, risk, workshops and lessons learned sessions.
Collaborate with NISTA for oversight of Major Projects Portfolio.
Manage senior stakeholders and identify strategic solutions to complex problems.
Ensure robust business cases and delivery strategies for major projects.
