Job summary

Government Recruitment Service in Belfast is seeking a G7 Project Delivery expert to join the Major Projects Portfolio office within the Project Delivery Division. You will support strategic oversight of BIST major projects, embed delivery discipline and improve governance and reporting.

You will work across multiple projects, challenge delivery performance, identify risks, and collaborate with NISTA and senior stakeholders to ensure projects deliver their intended benefits.

Qualifications

• G7 Project Delivery expertise with ability to guide projects through delivery life cycle.
• Ability to challenge performance and identify major risks at group/department level.
• Experience in facilitating planning, risk management and lessons-learning sessions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise to projects through the delivery life cycle to achieve successful completion.
• Challenge delivery performance; advise on solutions and identify major risks at group/department level.
• Facilitate planning, risk, problem-solving and lessons-learned sessions and workshops.
• Collaborate with NISTA to ensure oversight of pipeline projects.
• Manage senior stakeholders and identify strategic solutions.
• Advise and support robust business cases and delivery strategies.
• Coordinate with partners to identify and track group dependencies.
• Champion best-practice planning standards, tools and processes.
• Build external networks to access best-practice.
• Collaborate with PDD teams to provide best guidance.
