Job summary

Gleeds is seeking a Project Controls Consultant to support the delivery of major, complex projects from Bristol, with client office and site travel. You will cover planning, cost, risk, change, reporting and performance management across the full project controls scope.

You will build robust schedules, monitor baselines, produce governance reports and support schedule assurance. A strong multidisciplinary background and collaboration with cost, risk and performance teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Planning or Project Controls on major programmes.
• Experience with standard forms of contract (NEC, FIDIC) is beneficial.
• Qualifications in planning/quantity surveying or construction management are desirable.
• Membership of RICS/CIOB/CICES/CIPS or related is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and analyze project schedules across major programmes.
• Build robust, logic-linked programmes reflecting scope and milestones.
• Monitor progress against baselines and identify variances, risks and opportunities.
• Produce planning and controls reports for governance and client reporting.
• Support schedule assurance, critical path analysis and contractor submissions.
• Collaborate with cost, risk and change teams for integrated controls.
• Analyse change impacts on milestones and delivery.
• Facilitate planning workshops and progress meetings with stakeholders.
• Maintain controls processes, tools and data for timely reporting.
• Provide insights on schedule performance and recommend mitigations.
• Prepare dashboards and performance updates for governance forums.
