Job summary

Gleeds is seeking an ambitious Project Planner to join our expanding Project Planning & Controls team in Liverpool. You will support the Lead Planner and Delivery Team, maintaining the integrated master schedule across Construction, Design, Digital, Equipping and Finance streams.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to keep the programme robust, accurate and enabling informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle. Hybrid working, mentoring and career development are offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project planning on major construction, infrastructure or capital programmes.
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Understanding of programme controls, critical path analysis, progress measurement and schedule risk.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working under NEC contracts or within collaborative delivery environments would be advantageous.
  • Power BI experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of the integrated programme master schedule.

  • Identify schedule risks, opportunities and critical path impacts, providing timely analysis and recommendations.

  • Contribute to programme assurance activities and continuous improvement of planning processes.

Project Planner – Liverpool - Northwest

Gleeds is seeking an ambitious Project Planner to join our expanding Project Planning & Controls team in Liverpool.

Supporting our Lead Planner and Project Delivery Team, you'll play a key role in maintaining and analysing the integrated master schedules.

Working across multiple programme workstreams—including Construction, Design, Digital, Equipping and Finance—you'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the programme remains robust, accurate and supports informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of the integrated programme master schedule.

Who we’re looking for:

You'll be a proactive planner who enjoys working collaboratively and can confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in project planning on major construction, infrastructure or capital programmes.
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • An understanding of programme controls, critical path analysis, progress measurement and schedule risk.
