Job summary

WGM Engineering Ltd is seeking a Project Controls Manager – Lead Planner to join the Projects team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role will be based from an affiliated office in Scotland or England with hybrid working, supporting delivery across the UK water-sector portfolio.

You will lead preparing, maintaining and analysing project schedules in Primavera P6, collaborating with Design Managers and Project Delivery Managers to ensure robust planning before and after contract award.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in planning for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain high-quality project schedules.
• Strong understanding of schedule risk analysis and baselining.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and standardisation of detailed tender programs.
• Explain schedule risk analysis and TRA factors in the schedule (P0, P20, P50, P80).
• Facilitate workshops and engage with project teams during initiation and kick-offs.
• Report monthly progress and provide insights to PMO knowledge share.
