Job summary

WGM Engineering Ltd, part of the RSK Group, is seeking a P6 Project Planner in Glasgow on a permanent, full-time basis with hybrid working. You will support project delivery across the UK water-sector portfolio and work closely with project teams to maintain robust project plans in MS Project and P6.

You will supervise schedules, monitor progress, and provide essential reporting to inform decisions and keep multi-year programmes on track.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning controls, governance and reporting for complex projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering/construction environments.
• Proficiency with P6 Primavera, MS Project and Excel.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Knowledge of NEC forms of contract.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed tender programmes with Delivery Project Managers, from award to acceptance.
• Create clear critical paths and ensure resource loading across the lifecycle.
• Maintain up-to-date programmes at project/portfolio level using MS Project and P6.
• Monitor progress, highlight variances and key contractual dates.
• Provide weekly/monthly updates, dashboards and metrics for actions.
• Generate weekly resource histograms to guide recruitment and leveling.
