Job summary

Gdmsi is seeking a Senior Project Controls Analyst to partner with Project Managers and key stakeholders. The role focuses on promoting planning, ensuring scope and budget adherence, and escalating issues with proposed solutions.

You should bring strong MS Project and MS Office skills, plus experience with risk management and project controls. The ideal candidate will handle a portfolio of medium to high complexity projects, be proactive, and work well independently.

Job description

The Senior Project Controls Analyst role is wide ranging, the role interfaces with a number of key project stakeholders across the business, but primarily with Project Managers. The principle purpose of the role is to:

• Support assigned Project Manager(s) to promote good planning practice and ensure scope, schedule & budget adherence.
• Monitor, report & flag concerns, exceptions and issues through recognised escalation routes, along with proposed solutions.

To be considered for this Senior Project Controls Analyst role, you should have:

• Considerable experience working in a controlled project environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project for creating and maintaining project schedules
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Experience with risk management tools and practices
• Ability to support a portfolio of projects of medium to high complexity
• Flexibility and a service delivery mind-set
• Solid understanding of project support knowledge, skills and abilities
• Capability to produce high-quality work on time
• Familiarity with Project Controller competencies
• Degree level education or equivalent experience
• Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred

The ideal candidate is proactive, contributes to improvement initiatives, and can work independently with minimal supervision.

This role has a salary of between £40,320 and £58,000 plus our flexible benefits package.

We are open to this role being spent with time working from home and in the office (hybrid - typically 3 days working in office) on a weekly basis or fully in our offices.

Relocation assistance may be available for qualifying UK based applicants to move closer to our sites.
