Job Description

The role of Senior Project Controller is a wide-ranging role that interfaces with key project stakeholders across the business, primarily with Project Managers, Control Account Managers, and Finance Managers. The main responsibilities include:

• Supporting assigned Project Manager(s) to promote good planning practices and ensure scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Bringing together cost, risk, and schedule data to inform, report, and help improve performance.
• Assisting with the development of project dashboards and automated reporting to innovate and increase efficiency.
• Supporting resource management and capacity planning within the business.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have experience and skills including:

• Creating and maintaining complex project schedules using Microsoft Project, and managing and reporting project status and progress effectively.
• Knowledge of Project Online and Power BI for project reporting is beneficial due to our use of these tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Creating, maintaining, and reporting risks using a risk management tool.
• Experience in project controls on complex or major projects or programmes.

Additional Information

The starting salary for this position ranges from £38,400 to £45,000, complemented by our excellent flexible benefits package.

This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote and office work. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
