Job summary

Conrad Consulting seeks a Senior Project Architect to join a forward‑thinking architectural practice near Wilmslow. You will be expected to work with independence, delivering high‑quality design across Residential and Commercial schemes.

The role involves autonomous project delivery, regular site meetings, and direct liaison with clients while contributing to a growing studio of around ten staff. A strong portfolio in housing, hotels or student accommodation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience as an Architect.
• Ambitious individual aiming to progress to Senior/Associate Architect.
• Independent, self‑motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
• Residential and commercial project experience with a proven housing/hotel/student schemes portfolio.
• Proficient with REVIT and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects autonomously with support from senior colleagues.
• Attend site meetings and liaise directly with clients.
• Contribute to a mixed Residential/Commercial portfolio including housing, hotels and student accommodation.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop high-quality schemes.

Senior Project Architect required to join a progressive Architectural practice in central Cheshire, near Wilmslow. This is one of the best vacancies in the North‑West currently. Please read on for full details.

Our client are growing their studio. They are taking on more and more work across the Residential and Commercial sectors and are in need of additional support within their Architectural design team. They are currently home to around 10 members of staff and based on current projections for the coming year they plan to increase that number significantly.

Traditionally, their portfolio encompasses a nice mixture of Residential and more Commercial schemes. This could range from a bespoke, luxury townhouse to a Hotel or medium/high‑rise Student accommodation building. They have some excellent new projects that have recently been commissioned to the studio and their experienced team is in need of a 1, maybe 2 additional hires to meet the demand. Their Architects run projects autonomously and this new hire will be expected to do the same. Support can and will always be available from Senior colleagues but a degree of independence and self‑motivation is key.

Key Qualifications

• Motivated and experienced Architect, preferably with a minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Ambitious individual, aiming to progress to Senior/Associate Architect.
• All‑rounder capable of undertaking high‑quality design tasks and confident in attending site meetings and liaising directly with clients.
• Residential/Commercial specialist with proven portfolio of Housing, Hotel, Student schemes.
• Adaptable to different software programmes, with preference for REVIT & AutoCAD.
