The Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team and support the delivery of a range of high-profile urban design and masterplanning projects in the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.

This is a full-time position based in Central London, ideal for a talented, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in urban design and masterplanning within a relevant consultancy environment. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in shaping the growth of the practice.

You will work closely with the Urban Initiatives leadership team to manage large-scale masterplanning projects, with a strong focus on client engagement, team coordination, and delivery. The role involves overseas travel, predominantly to the Middle East and Africa.

About You

To be considered for the role, you should demonstrate:

• Proven experience managing large-scale masterplanning projects, particularly in the Middle East and/or Africa
• A creative and strategic approach to urban design and masterplanning
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with attention to detail
• Excellent client-facing skills, including communication, presentation, and report writing
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
• A collaborative mindset, with initiative and leadership skills

In addition, the ideal candidate will:

• Share our passion for great urban places and align with our practice ethos
• Possess strong people management skills and experience overseeing project initiation, sub-consultants, budgets, and programmes
• Be proficient in relevant software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and 2D/3D CAD software such as AutoCAD / Civil3D, SketchUp, and ArcGIS
