Job summary

Ferrovial Construction in Milton Keynes is hiring a Senior Accountant to lead project financial reporting, forecasting, and month-end close, ensuring accurate cost control and financial performance analysis. The role covers monthly close, IFRS-15/16 reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder partnership across EKFB projects, with flexibility to work from other UK site offices as required.

Qualifications

• Lead monthly financial close and cost reporting.
• Coordinate with commercial and project teams.
• Ensure IFRS-15/IFRS-16 reporting and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial close activities with accurate cost reporting (costs, accruals, forecasts).
• Monitor project financial performance and provide analysis to support decisions.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting and cost adjustments; manage subcontractor costs and payments.
• Partner with Quantity Surveyors, Commercial Leads and Project Controls teams to present financials.
• Develop reporting packs and management information outputs for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, SOX-related activities and audit trails.
