Job summary

GEA is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the UK & Ireland Cluster Project Management team in Warrington. You will lead large, technically complex projects above €10 million from quotation through commissioning and handover, coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple entities.

This UK-based role requires strong financial, commercial, and risk management, with occasional travel to Ireland or other European locations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or engineering-related qualification.
• Minimum 10 years in Project Management roles with delivery of large, complex projects.
• Experience delivering projects valued Above €10 million.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary project teams.
• Industry experience in chemical, dairy, food or beverage sectors.
• Experience managing multinational projects across cultures.
• Fluent written and spoken English with travel flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large, technically complex projects (>€10m) from quotation to commissioning and handover.
• Establish and lead multidisciplinary project teams across departments, companies, and entities.
• Own project financial performance: budgets, costs, margins, and contractual obligations.
• Plan and control schedules, resources, and progress to meet scope, quality and schedule.
• Manage stakeholders and customers, providing regular updates to executives and steering committees.
• Identify risks and issues, negotiate resolutions, and manage contractual disputes as needed.
• Coordinate procurement, fabrication, installation, and contractor management with Supply Chain.
• Oversee safety, commissioning, and verification of KPIs; drive continuous improvement.
