Job summary

Mace is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a c. £50m p.a. programme of repair and maintenance, delivered by a contractor, across the full lifecycle from scope and mobilisation to handover.

You will drive safe, on-time delivery, manage contractor performance, and ensure value for money through robust governance, reporting and integration with client and operations teams. We offer flexible hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering capital programmes or large portfolios.
• Ability to lead contractor teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong commercial sense with contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supply chain and contractor leadership across delivery partners.
• Ensure effective integration between client operations and contractors.
• Deliver programme outcomes for safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
• Maintain governance, controls and reporting; intervene as needed.
• Lead the work programme, build capability and drive a safety-led culture.
• Manage risk and issues with appropriate mitigations.
