Job description

DESCRIPTION

The WW Concessions Insights Team concentrates on Concessions DPMO and defect disparities between business lines and countries. Our scope encompasses all miles of the business from First Mile to Last. Through data analysis and operational process evaluation across worldwide operations, concession policy and tech integration, we identify and implement best practices, ensuring we leverage successful approaches from other regions to drive continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will drive discovery and research into high-impacting concessions opportunities. With a strong foundation in operational knowledge and analysis acumen, this person will conduct deep dives to discover novel concession-generating root causes, as well as uncover regional and cross-business differences in concessions-related processes.

Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate across multiple program and product teams to analyze and root-cause concession-generating inputs
- Work cross-functionally within Concessions, Central Programs, Operations, tech, Customer Service and more to implement findings and drive parity across regions
- Evaluate operational standards, processes and policies to drive improvement and efficiencies

A day in the life
In this role, you'll find yourself immersed in analyzing global concessions data, using SQL to uncover patterns and opportunities for improvement. Your day involves collaborating with diverse teams across Operations, Tech, and Customer Service, translating complex findings into actionable insights. You'll lead virtual workshops, prepare executive presentations, and manage multiple improvement initiatives simultaneously. Whether you're deep-diving into regional process variations or coordinating with international stakeholders, you'll constantly toggle between analytical problem-solving and strategic communication. Your work directly impacts operational efficiency by identifying root causes of concessions and implementing solutions across Amazon's worldwide network.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in program or project management
- SQL proficiency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience leading process improvements
