Senior Program Manager, EU Supply Chain Network Planning

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Supply Chain, with a proven track record of delivery and senior leadership experience, to lead strategic, cross-functional supply chain planning projects. Our Long Term Network Planning team develops strategic forecasts and optimizes the flow of billions of units annually for EU customers. Responsibilities include making long-term fulfillment center decisions such as site location, design, capacity expansion, financial viability, and network impact. The Senior Program Manager will enhance network efficiency by collaborating with stakeholders across Operations, Engineering, Real Estate, and Finance to plan and execute initiatives. This high-visibility role involves working globally with various business teams to prioritize projects supporting new products, programs, and existing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage a strategic plan for internal stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and providing mid to long-term volume and capacity forecasts critical for operations, transportation, and labor planning.
  2. Analyze future network programs and designs to evaluate impacts and risks related to capacity, cost, speed, and reliability, working with internal and external partners to align analyses and business cases.
  3. Present strategic updates to senior leadership on network program progress.
  4. Define and develop network solutions plans.
  5. Coordinate trade-offs with finance and business teams.
  6. Collaborate with Engineering, Real Estate, and S&OP teams for smooth network transitions.
  7. Prepare review documents on network topology for Directors and VPs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in program or project management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and metrics-driven improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating outcomes to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or MBA in Business, Operations, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or related fields.
  • Experience leading process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
