DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our Accounting organization. As a key member of the UK and Global Accounting team, this individual will be based in London. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in financial reporting, system and process design, project management, and internal control responsibilities.

This position supports and influences Amazon's global business initiatives, particularly in consumer products and process automation. The leader will collaborate with global financial systems teams, accounting operations, tax, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include partnering with operational accounting and finance teams to develop strategies, design launch methodologies, create supporting tools, and contribute to platform development.

The role requires managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, supporting new business launches, and ensuring internal controls are integrated into systems and tools. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential to identify and communicate risks to senior leadership.

Candidates should have extensive experience in similar roles within large public companies or accounting firms, with a proven track record of leading complex teams and projects.

Key job responsibilities

1. Lead and support projects related to new product launches and financial system setup.
