Placements24 is seeking a Program Director for a established charitable organization in Randburg. This senior role leads multiple community service programs, shaping strategy, and guiding a diverse team toward measurable social impact.

The position requires 7–10 years of leadership experience in non-profit settings, a Master’s degree, and strong fundraising and stakeholder skills to drive sustainable results in the Gauteng region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in complex community service or social welfare programs.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, program development, and team leadership.
• Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and fundraising.
• Strong understanding of social service delivery and policy frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all community service programs.
• Develop and refine program strategies, goals, and objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of program managers and staff.
• Oversee program budgets, financial planning and resource allocation.
• Establish and maintain relationships with government bodies, funders, and partners.
• Ensure program quality through monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
• Identify opportunities for program innovation and expansion.
• Represent the organization to donors, partners, and in public forums.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and funding requirements.
• Contribute to organizational strategic planning.
