Job summary

Castle Employment Group is seeking a Senior Production Planner for their established health products manufacturing site in Pocklington. The role focuses on production planning and scheduling across six lines to ensure efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a manufacturing planning role, strong Excel skills, and a solid understanding of production planning and supply chain processes. SAP training will be provided as the system is introduced in June 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Production Planner, Senior Production Planner or similar role.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Good understanding of production planning and supply chain processes.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production plans across six manufacturing lines.
• Coordinate production schedules to meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
• Monitor and adjust production plans as needed.
• Use Sage and Excel to manage planning information and records.
• Collaborate with the Planning Assistant to support planning activities and reporting.
• Apply supply chain knowledge to support effective production planning.
