Job Title:Senior Production Planner
Location:Samlesbury/Warton
Salary:£47,683+ dependent on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:- This role will require you to create and maintain balanced schedules to meet customer requirements
- You will be assessing demand and capacity to inform resource solutions
- Supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) inputs
- You will be supporting engineering change and Make-vs-Buy opportunities
- Communicating customer demands to the relevant Supply Chain and Procurement teams
- Working closely with operations, updating toolsets with accurate forecast dates and challenge where possible to achieve best possible outcomes
Your skills and experiences:Essential:
- Strong understanding of project planning principles and have competence in demand and capacity planning techniques in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent IT skills will be required to succeed in this role (primarily MS Excel)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to provide the capability to build relationships across multi-functional teams / broad stakeholder groups
Desirable:
- Previous experience of S&OP
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes in an Aerospace environment
- Recognition through an appropriate Professional Supply Chain body at a Chartered level i.e CILT, APICS or equivalent

The Production Planning team - FalconWorks:An exciting opportunity to work within the FalconWorks business as a production planner, covering the end to end Manufacturing process, liaising internally with multiple functions from design & engineering through to the assembly manufacturing team, ensuring business critical activities are prioritised and planned effectively.
