Senior Production Manager

Location: Slough
Salary: 65,000 - 75,000 per annum + Bonus + Healthcare + Pension

About the Role:
We're looking for a Senior Production Manager to lead production operations in a busy FMCG/food manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for managing teams, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage production teams including factory managers and operatives
• Plan and organise production schedules to meet customer and quality requirements
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and GMP standards
• Collaborate with Technical, Sales, and Supply Chain departments for product launches and improvements
• Monitor KPIs including waste, quality, and labour efficiency
• Manage recruitment, training, and performance of production staff
• Conduct risk assessments and investigate incidents to maintain safety

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in production management within FMCG or food manufacturing
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety and health & safety legislation
• Proficient in IT for production reporting and data management
