Opportunity: Senior Production Engineer

Due to strong business growth and industry-leading product development in the biosensor sector, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Engineer to join our Operations Engineering Group at Witney. This role focuses on innovating equipment to support an evolving product portfolio, collaborating with R&D on new processes, products, and engineering solutions to maintain equipment effectiveness. You will develop and lead strategies for bespoke engineering solutions to meet ongoing manufacturing needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Propose and investigate new manufacturing processes for future sensor and process projects.
  • Utilize market and technological insights to support continuous development in the biosensor industry.
  • Provide expertise in developing and improving complex manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to production teams.
  • Collaborate with Operations and R&D project leads to ensure infrastructure, resources, and equipment meet project needs.
  • Manage strategic relationships internally and externally, including with equipment suppliers, to deliver critical engineering projects.
About You:

You should ideally be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, or have proven experience in a Production Engineering environment. Demonstrated leadership in projects or teams of engineers, a future-focused vision, and enthusiasm for new ideas and technologies are essential.
