Senior Production Engineer - Days (Lots of Progression)

£30-40K plus pension, training, progression

Swindon

Are you a production engineer with an electronics background, looking for technical training on state-of-the-art equipment and the chance to progress into a management position?

This is a day-based role with ongoing technical progression and training.

In this role, you will be required to build, test, and inspect products through the design stage to manufacture. You will need to problem-solve and focus on process improvement throughout the project.

This well-established company specializes in the design and production of products, primarily for the Defence and Security sectors.

The purpose of the role is to provide engineering support to all departments within the manufacturing plant by identifying and implementing improvements to meet production targets.

The Role
  • Take initial designs from concept to manufacture
  • Develop and implement process improvements
  • Monitor production to ensure specifications are met
  • Schedule and plan work, maintain records
The Person
  • Electronics background, ideally HND or above
  • Time-served, fast-paced manufacturing engineering experience

The role works from 8:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
