Senior Production Engineer

Our client, an impressive Poole-based engineering business, is looking for a Senior Production Engineer to join their team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining and improving manufacturing processes and equipment. It is a position of responsibility, involving supporting, guiding, and training operators, proposing and managing multiple projects, ensuring health and safety standards, and championing continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities as Senior Production Engineer

1. Maintain and improve manufacturing processes and procedures
2. Support, guide, and train operators
3. Prepare and manage proposals and projects
4. Ensure health and safety standards are upheld
5. Verify and provide training on programs to team members with less experience
6. Coordinate project teams and workload
7. Produce programs for a variety of multi-axis CNC machines
8. Collaborate on the design of new cutting tools
9. Utilise the MRP/ERP system to update production engineering information

Qualifications and Experience as Senior Production Engineer

• Experience in a manufacturing/machining position
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and CAM software
