Job summary

Brewhouse & Kitchen in Gloucester is seeking a Senior Production Chef who leads kitchen operations with the Head Chef, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. You will be hands-on in the preparation and cooking, while driving consistency and creative input to dishes.

You will work as part of a team focused on delivering great guest experiences, with opportunities to influence menus and maintain exemplary kitchen standards within a busy pub environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with the wider team.
• Work with the Head Chef to manage stock and ensure food safety regulations are followed.
• Drive and determination to deliver excellent service every day in a pub kitchen.
• Opportunity to develop dishes for the menu.

• Prepare and cook menu items to specification and contribute to menu development.

Job description

Role Purpose

Our Kitchen Teams are key to running a successful pub. You are passionate about great food, uncompromising in your standards, with a great eye for detail.

Excellent communication skills are key within this role as is developing rapport with the wider team, understanding the shared goals and working collaboratively to achieve them.

As part of our kitchen management team, you’ll have the drive and determination to deliver an excellent service, every single day. You will work alongside the Head Chef in managing the food stock, ensuring safe working practices and that your pub kitchen adheres to all food safety regulations. You’ll take a front foot in the preparation and cooking of our menu, ensuring it leaves the kitchen to perfect specification for our guests and will be given creative opportunities to develop dishes for our menu.
