Job summary

Compound AI Systems in London offers a hybrid, client-facing Senior/Staff IC role building production AI systems, agents and retrieval pipelines for a Fortune 500 client. You will own end-to-end delivery from scoping with senior stakeholders to live deployment and continuous improvement based on eval results.

You will design evaluation sets, ensure observability and SOC-2 compliant security, and contribute reusable components to the internal platform, enabling scalable, enterprise-grade AI

Qualifications

• Senior/Staff IC with a track record shipping production AI systems and evaluating enterprise deployments.
• Experience building and operating autonomous agent-based workflows with measurable outcomes.
• Security reviews, SOC 2, data residency and cost/latency considerations in client environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of production AI systems including agents, tool use, retrieval and full-stack product.
• Build and validate evaluation infrastructure with real traffic data and independent scoring.
• Create autonomous loops with versioning and governance for configurable components.
• Integrate with client CRMs, EMRs and data platforms, ensuring security and latency budgets.
• Contribute reusable platform components back to internal LLM platform.
• Collaborate with AI strategists, architects and senior client stakeholders to scope next builds.
