Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking an interim Senior Product Technologist (Food) to drive innovation at Colworth Science Park, Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire. You will work within the Global Development Centre on NPD and business continuity projects for the Global Innovation within the ED&I team, collaborating with Marketing, Supply Chain and Procurement.

You will lead end-to-end project delivery, from concept through to qualification, scale-up, and customer-ready specifications, ensuring

Qualifications

Experience in leading cross-functional projects with internal teams and external partners.
Experience delivering projects from brief to market.
Knowledge of global networking (e.g., Asia, Turkey, EU).

Responsibilities

Plan, organize and execute varied projects under guidance of line manager.
Collaborate with Marketing to define project scope and timings.
Influence direction of innovations to meet brand and consumer needs.
Lead end-to-end technical delivery from concept to specs and nutrition compliance.
Lead pilot plant trials and ensure smooth transfer to production scale.
Write and manage product specifications and data systems.
Manage supplier relationships with procurement for innovative ingredients.
Apply TMICC development tools (Risk Analysis, SWOT, Quality in Innovation, Open Innovation, 5S, ICE).
Develop compelling selling stories to support customer development.
