Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Product Security Analyst for a 12-month contract based in Barrow, LA14. The role focuses on security engineering within a busy defence, security and aerospace context, delivering security artefacts and ensuring alignment with IA governance.

As a senior contributor, you'll be responsible for Security Case development, risk management, and coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Information Assurance and Product Security in complex engineered systems.
• Familiar with Security by Design concepts and Security Accreditation processes.
• Experience in large regulated programmes (defence, maritime, aerospace).
• Working knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle and design assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver Product Security activities per programme plan.
• Lead development of Interim and Final Security Cases.
• Maintain alignment with risk registers across PMS and Whole Boat IA.
• Coordinate IA technical queries and formal communications.
• Provide monthly progress reports and risk updates.
• Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement.
