Leonardo UK in Lincoln is recruiting a Principal Product Security Engineer to lead security across the product lifecycle within Combat Air and Electronic Warfare. You will define security requirements, advise development teams, and drive assurance across regulated defence and aerospace products.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO27001/27004/27005 and/or NIST RMF.
• Experience supporting security risk management for heavily regulated products (defence, aerospace, nuclear, automotive, rail or oil and gas).
• Understanding of engineering development lifecycles and how product security aligns.
• Ability to interpret Penetration Test Reports and support remediation.
• Awareness of UK Government Assurance Processes (MoD Secure by Design).
• Professional recognition in security governance and risk management by bodies such as CIISec, ISC2, ISACA or UKCSC.

Responsabilités

• Define product security requirements and advise development teams on implementation standards.
• Develop and manage security protocols, tools, and processes to counter emerging threats.
• Create and manage artefacts such as Risk Assessments, Security Cases and Remediation Action Plans.
• Drive Security Assurance through the full product lifecycle and contribute to engineering capability improvement.
• Contribute to Leonardo's UK-wide Security and IA community and influence security strategy.
• Liaise with Security experts and managers to support ongoing Security Assurance.
