Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Product Cyber Resilience Manager to lead security across the full product lifecycle, collaborating with engineers in software, systems, and electronics. The role focuses on applying Secure by Design principles to protect national security and global defence.

Location options include Basildon, Southampton, Luton or Bristol with on-site presence up to four days per week. Occasional travel to UK and overseas sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in product security for regulated systems.
• Ability to interpret assessment findings and create remediation plans.
• Knowledge of government assurance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Drive security assurance through the full product lifecycle, ensuring every design is robust, compliant, and resilient.
• Develop security protocols, tools, and processes that keep our technologies ahead of emerging threats.
• Provide independent IA reviews and risk assessments on a variety of complex, high‑impact projects.
• Contribute to Leonardo’s UK‑wide Security and IA community — shaping best practice and influencing security strategy.
• Create and manage key artefacts such as Security Management Plans, Risk Assessments, and Remediation Action Plans.
