Job summary

SRT Marine Systems plc is seeking a senior Product Security Architect to shape secure product design across the lifecycle. You will influence roadmaps, review designs and code, and drive secure delivery with cross-functional teams in a hybrid, UK-based role.

You will work primarily from our Bristol office with occasional travel to Cardiff and Bath, and you will champion secure development practices, risk-based decisions and security standards across products and clients.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in product security and secure software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior security voice across product and development teams.
• Embed security across the product lifecycle with colleagues from product, development, networks & infrastructure.
• Carry out threat modelling, secure design reviews and risk assessments for new and existing capabilities.
• Assign pragmatic risk levels and prioritise remediation with feature delivery.
• Improve secure software development and delivery practices (CI/CD and controls).
• Support vulnerability remediation including root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Contribute to security standards, metrics and secure development maturity.
• Provide security leadership for secure implementation in customer environments.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure engineering reality supports security claims.
