Job Description:

Our client, a global automation technology software manufacturer, is scaling up their UK-based Information Security team. They seek an experienced Product Security professional to focus on securing their products against threats and vulnerabilities.

The Role:

• Oversee and enhance the company's security posture, promoting continuous security improvements.
• Engage engineering and operations teams to integrate security practices into their workflows.
• Develop security frameworks and guide teams in threat modeling and risk assessment.
• Translate security standards like CIS Top 18 and NIST CSF into actionable insights for technical teams.
• Manage cybersecurity systems to demonstrate security status to clients and stakeholders.
• Implement procedures for rapid vulnerability detection and response using SIEM/SOAR tools.
• Benchmark security maturity across teams to identify improvement areas.
• Present security strategies to clients, regulators, and stakeholders to support autonomous product development.

Experience Required:

• Deep understanding of cybersecurity risks, cloud security principles (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure), and DevSecOps.
• Experience with security systems like IDS/IDR, DLP, and log management.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security threats.
• Proven leadership in security initiatives within tech organizations, using data-driven risk management.
• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001, CIS, and NIST.

Offer / Package:

• Base Salary: £80,000 - £90,000
