Salary: £47,000 to £52,000 plus benefits, with hybrid working options

Responsibilities

• Review Support Solution artefacts to ensure safety implications are identified and addressed.
• Validate safety justifications for Support Solution deliverables, ensuring alignment with programme requirements.
• Understand evidence required to support qualification and safety justifications within Support Solution.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to consider and support their requirements.
• Author Independent Safety Assurance (ISA) Judgement Reports for Target Event deliverables and present ISA recommendations or concerns to the Product Technical Authority.
• Support Product Safety Review meetings and Safety Committee sessions, collaborating to uphold safety standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of in-service support and training activities (experience with RAF or military aviation is advantageous but not essential).
• Familiarity with safety management tools, techniques, and best practices.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment in safety assessments.
• Proven experience in Product Safety Assurance and Safety Management Systems.

The team delivers independent assurance activities related to airworthiness, safety, sustainability, and security in a collaborative environment.
