Overview

MCS Group are delighted to be working with a leading global financial services firm, with offices across 25+ countries, and has been steadily expanding its Belfast operations. Since establishing here, the Belfast hub has become a key centre for Technology.

As the Technical Product Owner (PO), you will help deliver the company's technology platform vision. You'll work with the Agile team to make sure the Team Backlog focuses on the most important features for the business and customers. Working closely with the Product Manager, you'll keep product strategy and delivery aligned, and support the development team with the Scrum Master and Business Analyst to deliver real results.

What You'll Do

• Understand customer and stakeholder needs to guide the team toward valuable solutions.
• Help shape the product vision, roadmap, and backlog priorities.
• Maintain and prioritise the team backlog, including user stories and MVPs.
• Support the development team to deliver high-value outcomes and meet sprint goals.
• Gather and apply feedback to improve products continuously.
• Lead product design, including workflows, specs, and UAT.
• Act as a bridge between business, tech, and support teams.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years' experience in product ownership, product management - lead level.
• Commercial experience working in financial services - ESSENTIAL
• Strong communication skills to bridge business and technical teams.
• Agile delivery experience and ability to prioritise effectively.
