Job summary

National Energy System Operator (NESO) is seeking a Senior Product Owner for the Connections Product team in Warwick. This hybrid role blends office and home working, with responsibilities to shape customer experiences across NESO’s digital platforms and products.

You will collaborate with product managers, developers, business analysts and wider teams to translate complex requirements into intuitive interfaces, drive the roadmap, and ensure efficient, customer-focused delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing a digital platform as Product Owner.
• Ability to communicate product roadmaps and prioritise features by value and impact.
• Excellent communication skills across internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in complex regulated environments is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with key customers/stakeholders to understand needs.
• Translate customer and regulatory needs into clear product features and stories with acceptance criteria.
• Maintain the product roadmap and translate it into quality features and user stories.
• Lead agile ceremonies (refinements, sprint planning, retrospectives) for the team.
• Support UAT and sign-off of releases; assist with training plans with the change team.
