The Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to join our team and elevate our product positioning within the competitive market landscape. Our ideal candidate has a strong B2B marketing background. This role requires a hands-on approach to collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather product insights, developing key messaging and positioning strategies, and overseeing the launch and promotion of new and existing products. Success in this role will result in substantial lead generation, brand growth, the strategic positioning of our platform in the market, and elevated platform use by current customers.

Furthermore, you will be instrumental in influencing our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing product awareness and driving customer engagement across diverse channels.

The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, a commitment to excellence, and a deep-rooted passion for innovating marketing practices and driving product success in the cloud cost industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Be an integral part of the Product team, and collaborate with the engineering team to understand new developments that will determine the narratives we should communicate to our addressable market.

- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and refine marketing materials, ensuring they accurately align with field realities and effectively address customer needs and preferences.

- Develop and maintain a positioning and messaging framework for PointFive’s platform based on its unique benefits and value proposition.

- Research buyer and user personas, competitors, and the market landscape to inform marketing strategies.

- Develop internal and external documentation and marketing materials that showcase key capabilities and values to engage our very technical customers.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders on the Go-To-Market teams to ensure messaging and content are accurate and aligned with our brand and tone of voice.

- Write and generate high-quality technical content assets (product videos, webinar material, white papers, blogs, case studies, use cases, etc.) that will drive demand for PointFive’s platform.

- Create a community engagement strategy within the cloud cost industry.

Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience as a Product Marketing Manager in an Enterprise SaaS product company.

- Proven track record working with very technical B2B SaaS - in a product or marketing role.

- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their associated buyer personas within large enterprise customers (FinOps/Engineering leadership)

- Substantial experience with technical content development, digital content, product development, and program management.

- Efficient, results-focused, and strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making.

- Proven ability to build your domain from the ground up and communicate product marketing strategies to leadership.

- Fluent in English and with both written and verbal communication skills, and prior experience in technical content creation.

- Deep technical understanding of product life cycles, and product-engineering-marketing collaboration.

- A desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment and be hands-on with every task related to your domain.
