The Amazon Global Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) organization addresses these questions. SCOT tackles industry’s most challenging problems, fostering continuous improvement and advocating innovative ideas to develop intelligent, self-learning systems that enhance the efficiency, automation, and scale of Amazon's vast supply chain.

The EU network S&OP team within SCOT forecasts inventory flows to and from each country—monitoring what Amazon receives from vendors and ships from Fulfillment Centers (FCs). We measure S&OP performance and continuously improve the tools and methods used for local network planning, optimizing for reliability, speed, cost, and sustainability.

We collaborate with North American & EU SCOT teams, who own the systems and inputs for network planning, and work closely with EU stakeholders in EU STEP, Transportation, Ops Retail, and Finance teams.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager - Tech to lead new models improving S&OP accuracy, automation, and plan optimality, partnering across SCOT.

You will create automated data pipelines and processes, establishing a single source of truth for all operations teams relying on S&OP data for decision-making.

Key job responsibilities

1. Design and implement complex data models, develop advanced analytics, and create dashboards and reports.
2. Collaborate with operations, finance, and product teams to identify supply chain optimization opportunities.
3. Translate business needs into technical specifications, analyze data, and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
4. Mentor junior team members, promote best practices in data engineering and visualization, and contribute to the data strategy.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience leading product roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and product tradeoffs
• Experience advocating for stakeholders during executive prioritization
• Background in technical product management, program management, or engineering

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with analytical tools like Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
• Experience building and promoting adoption of new tools
