Job description

Job Description

We're ASOS, the online retailer for fashion lovers all around the world.

We exist to give our customers the confidence to be whoever they want to be, and that goes for our people too. At ASOS, you're free to be your true self without judgement, and channel your creativity into a platform used by millions.

Everyone needs some help showing up as their best self. We're Disability Confident Committed - let our Talent team know if you need any reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process.

This is a senior and highly influential role sitting at the intersection of SEO strategy and product delivery. The Senior Product Manager - SEO will be the primary bridge between the SEO team and the wider Technology and Product organisation at ASOS, ensuring that SEO requirements are embedded into product development, roadmap prioritisation and engineering delivery.

Reporting into the SEO Lead with a dotted line to the Director of Product you will own the SEO & GEO product roadmap end-to-end, from identifying technical opportunities, building business cases, impact measurement, and partnering with engineering for the delivery of your roadmap. You will bring strong product instincts alongside deep SEO expertise, enabling you to translate complex technical requirements into clear, prioritised work that engineering teams can execute at pace and at scale.

The Details
  • Define and own the organic strategy and roadmap, building a deep understanding of organic growth opportunities and how success will be measured across traffic, revenue and platform performance.
  • Own the documentation and reporting of SEO product development, tracking initiative progress, reviewing OKRs and clearly communicating outcomes and impact to ensure priorities remain aligned to wider business goals.
  • Manage the SEO Product Development Team (PDT), overseeing sprint planning and backlog prioritisation to keep initiatives on track.
  • Act as the primary bridge between SEO and Technology / Product, translating complex technical requirements into clear specifications that engineering teams can execute at pace.
  • Partner with Engineering, Marketing, Analytics and Commercial teams to embed SEO best practices into platform development and ensure SEO is considered by default.
  • Keep the customer at the heart of every decision, ensuring optimisations improve the experience for users alongside search engines.
  • Surface competitor and industry trends, including developments in generative AI search, and share insights proactively with the SEO team and wider business.
  • Use data, experimentation and customer research to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses and measure impact, running structured tests and building dashboards to shape next steps.
  • Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.

We believe being together in person helps us move faster, connect more deeply, and achieve more as a team. That’s why our approach to working together includes spending at least 3 days a week in the office. It’s a rhythm that speeds up decision‑making, helps ASOSers learn from each other more quickly, and builds the kind of culture where people can grow, create, and succeed.
