Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Performance to define and lead strategy for improving user-perceived performance across traveler experiences, while building systems, operating models, and guardrails to prevent regressions at scale.

You will own the product vision and roadmap for performance across web and app, balancing near-term improvements with longer-term instrumentation and reliability initiatives across teams.

Qualifications

• Define product strategy, roadmaps, metrics, and outcomes for platform products.
• Own products through discovery, prioritization, delivery, adoption, and optimization.
• Lead large cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, and platform teams.
• Partner with engineering on complex technical challenges.
• Understand web/mobile performance, including observability and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and success metrics for performance across web and native app experiences.
• Establish a clear performance product vision spanning load speed, responsiveness, and stability.
• Partner with engineering and architecture leaders to prioritize investments that improve performance at scale.
• Own the performance measurement framework across web and app, including headline and driver metrics.
• Lead discovery to identify root causes of poor UX and translate findings into priorities.
• Drive adoption of performance standards, budgets, and release guardrails.
• Shape operating model for performance reviews and escalation paths.
• Collaborate with analytics to evaluate how changes affect performance and outcomes.
• Work with observability, monitoring, and tooling teams to improve visibility.
• Influence roadmaps across multiple teams and align leaders on goals.
