This includes close collaboration with the index research, design, policy and sales teams, engineering divisions, and operations to deliver innovative index solutions tailored to meet evolving client needs. With a strong focus on client engagement, you will establish and execute strategies to expand market share across various segments, including asset owners, asset managers (active and passive), buy-side institutions, and wealth management, with an emphasis on innovation, capability development and growth.

Reporting directly to the Head of EMEA Index Product Management, Equity and Multi-Asset Indices, this role is based in London and involves being part of a high-performing team to drive regional strategy and enhance client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for equity and multi-asset indices in EMEA, ensuring alignment with global goals and regional growth objectives.
  • Establish market positioning across key client segments, including asset owners, active and passive asset managers, and wealth management.
  • Define and implement innovative solutions, including direct indexing and customisation, to drive client adoption and market penetration.

Full Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Contribute to a front-to-back product organisation accountable for revenue growth, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the index research, design, and policy teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and capabilities that align with market demand and regulatory standards.
  • Drive end-to-end ownership of product development, commercialisation, and post-launch maintenance and performance tracking.

Client-Centric Growth:

  • Be part of a client-facing team, building trusted partnerships with key stakeholders across institutional segments and distribution channels.
  • Collaborate with sales to identify opportunities, enhance client engagement, and promote the value proposition of FTSE Russell products.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies and tailored index solutions that meet the unique needs of diverse client bases.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with internal teams, including operations, technology, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless delivery of business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, ensuring collaboration across EMEA and globally.
  • Align with the global equity and multi-asset team to establish regional priorities and contribute to group-wide initiatives.

Revenue and Market Expansion:

  • Drive penetration in underdeveloped segments such as wealth management, leveraging innovation and tailored solutions.
  • Expand FTSE Russell's presence across EMEA through partnerships, product launches, and enhanced client engagement strategies.

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) within the financial services or index industry, with a strong understanding of equity and multi-asset products.
  • Expertise in product development and management, spanning customisation, direct indexing, and tailored index solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in building and working in client-focused teams to drive revenue growth across asset owners, asset managers, and wealth managers.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a focus on client engagement and partnerships.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments, including ETFs, funds, and derivatives, as well as market trends influencing the index industry.
