Job summary

Sync Energy, part of Luceco Group, is hiring a Senior Product Manager – Connected Platforms in London. You will drive V2G and Plug‑In Solar initiatives, shaping roadmaps and platform capabilities across app, API, firmware and cloud services.

You will lead multi‑disciplinary teams, define requirements, manage backlogs and coordinate global delivery with engineering and partners to scale a connected energy ecosystem for thousands of users.

Qualifications

Experience in Product Management within IoT, Energy Management, Smart Home or EV Charging environments.
Strong understanding of connected platforms, cloud architecture, APIs and hardware/software integration.
Experience with Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technologies.
Knowledge of OCPP v2.0/v2.1.
Hands-on experience testing EV chargers, inverters or smart home energy products.

Responsibilities

Own the roadmap, strategy and delivery of connected energy product lines focused on V2G and Plug-In Solar.
Lead the development of OCPP v2.1 server infrastructure and related platform capabilities.
Define product requirements, technical specifications and user journeys across app, API and backend services.
Manage products across hardware, firmware, cloud services and APIs.
Coordinate testing, validation and releases with engineering and QA teams.
Collaborate with teams across the UK, India and China, and with partners and suppliers.
