What is the role?

At EnergySys, we help technical business users unlock the value of their operational data with secure, stable, and highly flexible software solutions. Our platform is widely used across the energy sector today, particularly in oil and gas, and we see significant opportunities to scale and expand our capabilities.

We are now looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our Configurator team. This team is responsible for the tools and features used to model, configure, and deploy applications on top of the EnergySys platform - a core part of how our customers realise value.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of systems thinking, user experience, and technical enablement. You’ll help make configuration faster, easier, and more transparent - improving the day-to-day experience for the partners and technically skilled users who build and manage solutions in EnergySys.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Owning the product backlog for the Configurator team, including new features, usability improvements, and technical enablers
  • Working with internal stakeholders, partners, and customers to understand current challenges and opportunities
  • Prioritising improvements that help configurators work more efficiently and confidently
  • Shaping the roadmap across areas like UI customisation, validation tooling, audit history, and deployment workflows
  • Collaborating with engineering and UX to define, scope, and deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Acting as the voice of the configurator user and ensuring their needs are well represented in planning and prioritisation
  • Supporting documentation and enablement efforts to help users discover and adopt new capabilities
  • Driving coordination with the Platform and OData API teams to ensure cohesion across the stack

What does the ideal candidate look like?

You don’t need to tick every box, but we think the following would set you up for success:

Core skills and experience

  • At least 8 years’ experience as a Product Manager in a B2B SaaS, platform, or tools-based environment
  • Comfort working with technical users and systems - ideally with exposure to low-code or configuration-driven platforms
  • Strong collaboration skills, especially with engineers, UX, and partner teams
  • Structured and pragmatic thinking - able to balance user needs, system constraints, and business value
  • Excellent communication and prioritisation skills

Nice to have

  • Experience working on internal tooling, admin interfaces, or data modelling platforms
  • Familiarity with the energy sector, process-driven businesses, or complex enterprise environments
  • An understanding of how change is deployed and tested in multi-tenant or configurable systems

Why this is a great role

  • Drive improvements to a critical part of the EnergySys experience
  • Help empower a key user group - our partners and customer builders - to work faster and with greater confidence
  • Influence product strategy and roadmap decisions at a platform level
  • Join a thoughtful, ambitious team committed to doing great work with real autonomy
  • Play a lead role in shaping how we scale EnergySys for the future
  • Fully remote working, with occasional in-person meetups and travel
  • Private healthcare and critical illness cover
  • Dental and optical packages
  • Life insurance and travel insurance
  • Ongoing investment in your personal development
