About the Product & Engineering team

The Choreograph Product & Engineering team is responsible for building the technology platform that powers the way we create audiences, forecast, price, and optimise cross-channel campaigns. It is a proprietary solution which has a fast-expanding user base across markets, agencies, and clients. There is an extensive roadmap of developments that is required to support all the use cases and channels.

The team consists of several specialist areas, all involved in product and system development, these include product management, project management, data science, technical design, and technical account management.

Intro to the role

We are looking for a senior product leader for our Planning function. The role will work within the Global Product & Engineering team, supporting the GroupM organisation and agencies with the development of planning capabilities. This role will lead the product strategy and execution for media planning tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our agency clients and internal teams. The work will be collaborative, working with data science, product development, and planning leads to create unified models, incorporate advanced media planning techniques, and ensure seamless integration into Choreograph/GroupM systems. Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you'll work across a matrix organization, in multiple markets, and with senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for digital media planning capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and agencies to understand requirements and develop innovative features to enhance media planning product.
  • Translate client needs into detailed product specifications and work with the development team to build and deliver effective products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product success.
  • Define and oversee API integrations.
  • Identify new opportunities and drive product innovation.
  • Support product adoption through training and documentation.
  • Monitor and analyse product performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

About You:

  • Deep understanding of major digital media platforms (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk, Google Ads, etc.) including advertising features, targeting options, and analytics tools.
  • 5+ years of product development and management experience, focusing on digital media advertising.
  • Expertise in campaign planning, budgeting, targeting, and optimization techniques.
  • Passion for designing exceptional user experiences and familiarity with UX principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
